Kelsey Lading to be Awarded Roy & Harriet Robinson Scholarship

Springfield, IL, (September 23, 2002)-The Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois (PIIAI) will present the Roy & Harriet Robinson Scholarship to Kelsey Lading, of Polo, Ill., during the PIIAI annual convention, Oct. 2-4 at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield.

The Roy and Harriet Robinson Scholarship will provide Lading with a $500 payment to her college for two semesters. Lading's essay focuses on her experience working in the insurance industry.

Lading is attending Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Ill., where she is studying accounting. She is employed by Gardner Witworth Insurance Agency, Inc., in Matton, Ill., and also works for the Eastern Illinois University Student Health Insurance Office during the school year.

The Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois is an association representing independent insurance agents throughout the state. PIIAI membership is comprised of 1,500 insurance agencies representing 12,000 licensed independent agents engaged in all facets of the insurance industry, including property, casualty, life and health. Its members are businesses that offer customers a choice of policies from a variety of insurance companies.
